Sign in with your Facebook credentials or email address and complete your profile. The better you complete your profile page, the more successful your sales will be! A thoroughly filled profile page increases trust among users.

Renting 

Rental Agreement

Renting through RetkiRent is safe. RetkiRent provides users with a rental agreement that ensures the interests of both the lessor and the lessee. The rental agreement is approved during the rental transaction. Learn more about the rental agreement here.

Payment and Receiving Payments

When offering products for rent through RetkiRent service, you can receive payments either directly into your bank account via Stripe or through a PayPal Business account. If you use Stripe, customers can pay with most credit and debit cards, but not through a PayPal account. If you use PayPal, customers can pay with most credit cards and through a PayPal account, but not with debit cards.

RetkiRent charges the landlord a 15% service fee or at least 2 euros of the rental amount. The service fee enables the maintenance of the RetkiRent service and supports the activities of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation.

If you do not want to use RetkiRent's booking and payment system and want to direct users from the advertisement directly to your own website, send an email to: hello -@- retkirent.fi. Only users who have received permission can add links to their own or another website in advertisements. Otherwise, directing users away from the RetkiRent service to another site is prohibited. However, an advertisement may contain a link to the product manufacturer's homepage, where more information about the product for sale or rent can be read.

Booking Calendar

The calendar feature is currently only operational for the advertisement type "Rent (per night)". If you want to set a weekly price for your product, select the advertisement type "Rent (per week)" in this case.

H2 Sales As a private individual, you can sell products through RetkiRent completely free of charge. In this case, select the order type "For Sale (private individuals)". Through this order type, you cannot receive payments, and you must separately agree with the customer on how the product will be paid for.

If you want to receive payments to your bank or PayPal account or if you want to sell your company's products through RetkiRent, select the order type "For Sale". In this case, RetkiRent charges a 15% service fee or at least 2 euros per transaction.

General Guidelines 

If the lessor/seller has not accepted the reservation within three days, the pre-authorization will automatically be returned. Good practice is to first send a message to the lessor/seller and make a reservation only after reaching the person.
